About This Event
Cabaret for Freedom brings poetry and live music together for an evening honoring women who shaped their communities through activism, service and grassroots organizing. The 2026 lineup includes Malika Booker, Shirley May, Young Identity poets Janoma Omena, Setira Reid and Faheezal Taiwo, bassist Clive Hunte and singer-songwriter Mali Hayes.
