About This Event
The Windrush International Caribbean Film Festival presents Pioneers & Heroes: Across the Diaspora, pairing the feature film HERO with My Dad, Guyana and Me, a short directed by Noella Letitia Mingo. The short follows a filmmaker exploring the Guyanese heritage inherited through her late father using family photographs, archival material and contemporary images of Guyana. A remote conversation with director Frances-Anne Solomon follows the screenings.
