About This Event

After the Island: Caribbean Canadian Ceramics is a pan-Caribbean exhibition at the Gardiner Museum in Toronto running October 9, 2026 through April 25, 2027. Presented with Black Artists’ Networks in Dialogue and the Museum of the African Diaspora, it features Caribbean-Canadian artists PJ Anderson, Eddy Firmin, Manuel Mathieu and Sharon Norwood, whose work examines migration, identity, memory, belonging and cultural continuity through clay.
